To register your child for the Bambini Marathon, you must confirm that you agree with the following rules. These rules are standard for events of this kind and apply to all participants, so please read them carefully.
All parents/guardians who register children to participate in the race accept that children run at the responsibility of their parents, and acknowledge they are familiar with the race rules and will adhere to them. By registering for the race, the parent/guardian waives the right to transfer responsibility to the race organizer and confirms the child’s satisfactory health condition and readiness to complete this short race.
REGISTRATION
Children up to 6 years old may participate, provided the parent/guardian considers the child capable of running the 210-meter course.
Registration is complete once the registration form has been filled out and the entry fee has been paid. The entry fee can be paid until the date stated on the official website or until the race capacity is full. Registration is not valid with only the form completed or only the fee paid.
The number of participants is limited to 600 children whose registration and fee payment are completed.
Race-day registration is possible no later than 10:00 AM if the limit of 600 participants has not been reached.
Entry fees can be paid until the date specified on the website or on the day of the race if the limit of 600 participants has not been reached.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS
After completing the application form on the website, the entry fee can be paid online or via bank transfer to the NGO Marathon account. Only children with a race bib can participate in the race. After completing registration, parents will receive an email with detailed instructions. The race bib must be clearly displayed on the child’s chest. Medals will be awarded only to children with a race bib. Before the race starts, all parents must write their phone number and name on the back of the bib.
All Bambini Marathon participants must run accompanied by a parent or one adult.
BIB COLLECTION
Bibs are collected at the location and time stated on the race website.
On race day, bib collection is possible no later than 10:30 AM.
If a parent/guardian cannot collect the bib for their child, another person may do so upon showing the confirmation email received after payment.
TIME LIMIT
The time limit for finishing the race is 30 minutes.
After the time limit expires, traffic will be reopened, and all participants still on the course will be asked to complete the race by running or walking on the sidewalk.
THE RACE
The Bambini Marathon is non-competitive. Every child crossing the finish line with a visible race bib will receive a finisher’s medal.
All children will be given a race bib, which must be worn during the race.
Parents/guardians accompanying children may run with them, with or without a stroller. In such cases, they must start from the back of the group to avoid obstructing other participants.
Children aged 2 to 4 must run accompanied by a parent or older person.
After the race, there will be an awards ceremony and entertainment for all participants.
The organizer is obliged to provide professional medical assistance if needed.
All parents/guardians must respect the race rules and treat participants, marshals, volunteers, and race staff with respect.
CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
In case of cancellation, the parent/guardian must inform the organizer as soon as possible.
In the event of cancellation, the entry fee is non-refundable. If a registered child cannot participate, the entry fee may be transferred to another child.
If the race is canceled due to force majeure beyond the organizer’s control (e.g., weather conditions, unforeseen events), resulting in changes to the schedule or any other deviation from published information, the entry fee will not be refunded. The parent/guardian has no right to compensation and/or refund. The organizer will allow an alternative event to be held, if possible, on another date to the extent feasible.
USE OF MEDIA MATERIALS
By registering for the race, the parent/guardian agrees that the organizer may use photographs and video footage taken before, during, and after the race for internal purposes and event promotion. All photos, as well as video and audio recordings taken by the organizer during the race, are the property of the organizer, and the parent/guardian waives all rights to them, including any compensation related to their use.
